THANK YOU IYA!

Pat, Paige, & Staff

Thank you for allowing the Havasupai Youth to attend your camp session and waiving

the fee.  They loved the camp and really enjoyed themselves.  We look forward to

next year's camp, possibly in South Dakota.  Also, thank you for the positive inter-

action with our youth.

Dear Pat -n- Paige,

I got the two letters you sent me.  When my mom gave me them I was excited

because it was from my favorite camp.  I just miss the pine and the smell of the

rain and then the walking up to our cabin.  Every time I hear the song from summer

I just go man this is the song from camp.  Well I just wanted to see how you guys

are doing and I might go back to Whispering Pines with the district.  Well I'll see

you when I go back over there.

Good morning Pat, I just wanted to thank you so much for giving our youth the opportunity

to attend Camp Bob Marshall.  They all had a great time and are very excited about coming

back next year.  I told them about your generous gift to us of waiving the camp fees and

they said they are willing to raise money to come back.  So we will see.  Anyway, thank you

again!!

IYA’S 29th ANNUAL CHRISTMAS PARTY WAS A HUGH SUCCESS!

Over 350 Indian children and family members attended IYA's Annual Christmas Party. The Party was held at the Promenade Cinema on December 12th. The children got to watch a private, free showing of the Disney movie "The Princess and the Frog". After the movie a drawing for special door prizes was held and then everyone received a present and "goodie bag". Everyone’s most generous support made it possible for IYA to make Christmas 2009 a happier holiday season for the Indian children in Siouxland. Thank you to everyone who helped make Indian Youth of America's 29th Annual Christmas Party possible!
